Fountaineers | Case Study

Year: 2019

Great Holland’s Park, Bracknell, Berkshire

Fountaineers have previously installed a splash pad for Bracknell Town Council at Jocks Lane and we have recently completed the installation of another splash pad on their behalf.

The recreation ground at Great Hollands Park has recently benefited from a project which involved building a new community hub along with new play equipment. A Paddling pool had long been enjoyed by the local community and Fountaineers were able to provide a design for a new splash pad which also honoured the heritage of the paddling pool.

Using equipment from our Fun Stream range of equipment we were able to design a Whale splash pad featuring 10 flush mounted features and 3 above ground features. The centre piece of this splash pad is the “Tumble Soaker” which is the latest addition to our Fun Stream range. This exciting feature has two buckets which slowly fill with water before tipping over to drench anyone standing underneath; perfect for cooling off on a hot day!

The splash pad also features mini fountain jets, water bouquets ad water tunnels which give a stimulating range of water jets to interact with. At one end of the splash pad there is a shallow splash pool which gives this feature a very diverse selection of play opportunities.

The operating equipment is housed in a plant room next to the splash pad and features fully automatic electronic control for all the splash pad features such as water level and pump control.

Technical and Sales Engineer Oliver Mitchell was really pleased with the outcome of this project:

This is another great addition to our portfolio of splash pads. The Tumble Soaker looks really good in the centre of the play area and complements the flush mounted features around the splash pad. I hope that the local community get many hours of fun from this fantastic water play area.
