New water feature for re-developed park
Fountaineers are delighted to announce the completion of yet another water feature project. Working alongside FM Conway and on behalf of Westminster City Council, Fountaineers built an artistic new water feature in Hanover Square, Central London. The gardens have recently been redeveloped and this included the provision of the new water feature. Fountaineers designed a bespoke stainless steel spout which allows the water to gently flow into a granite channel where it falls into a granite bowl before spilling to a specially designed floor drain. The fountain also features a filtration and chemical treatment system as a well as an automatic water level control system and control panel.
Colin Knight of Fountaineers Limited was pleased with the result of this unique feature: “This water feature is one of the most calming and relaxing that we have created. I love the way that the water falls from the spout and I hope that lots of visitors will also enjoy spending time watching and listening to the gently running water.”
If you would like to visit this water feature, the gardens at Hanover Square are owned and operated by Westminster Council and will soon be open to the public during daylight hours throughout the year.
